Fresh off the 1st Vietnam Bird Race podium finish, Bird Finder Philippines organized a three-day solo birding tour for Ms. Andrea Bennett from the United States to experience the incredible bird diversity of the southern Sierra Madre mountain range along Marilaque Highway. A total of 65 bird species were observed and recorded, including several notable starbirds of Sierra Madre, such as the Northern Rufous Hornbill, Philippine Fairy Bluebird, and White-browed Shama. The tour also had fantastic views of a mega rare Philippine endemic – Green-faced Parrotfinch which was last observed nine years ago in 2015 at Bataan, Luzon.
