Bird Groups Tours

In addition to our regular birding tours, we also have specialized tours where we aim to target specific bird groups in the Philippines. We recognize very intrepid birders and birding groups aiming to complete a particular bird family, so we have these tours to help you complete that family list.

2pax or 6pax Tour Group Recommended

To make the best bird watching and bird photography experience as smooth as possible, we recommend having a Tour Group size of 2 or 6 for our birding tours.

Kingfisher Tours

Kingfishers are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful bird groups of the world. Our Kingfisher tour aims to complete all 15 Resident Kingfisher species, with a focus on the 9 endemic Kingfishers of the Philippines across a mix of bird hides, boat rides, and roadside birding among our signature and special bird tour sites in Luzon, Palawan, Mindanao, and the Visayas.

Pitta Tours

Pittas are some of the most desired bird groups in the world, and the Philippine Pittas are some of the most challenging to photograph. Through feeding stations and established trails, Pittas have become easier to photograph over the years. Our Pittas tour will focus on sites in Luzon and Visayas/Mindanao with a possible extension to Palawan to complete all 4 Pitta species.

Sunbird Tours

The Philippines is the world’s center for Sunbird diversity, with an astonishing 16 species being endemic to our islands, and 3 additional species being a native resident. Our Sunbirds Tour aims to photograph all of our Sunbird species through bird hides and light roadside birding across a mix of standard and special tour sites in Luzon, Palawan, Mindanao, and the Visayas.
